Gyros with rice and salad A quick and very tasty, the Mediterranean-inspired skillet dish that all tastes.

  • 500 g Turkey breast Or Chicken Breast

For the Marinade

  • 1 EL Gyros spices
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 TL Lemon juice
  • 1 TL Sugar
  • 4 EL Oil

For the sauce

  • 1 Cup Sour cream 200 grams
  • 100 ml Meat sauce

For the Marinade

  • 2 EL White Wine Vinegar
  • 6 EL Oil
  • 1 TL Mustard
  • 2 TL Honey
  • 1 TL Salt
  • ½ TL Black Pepper

In addition,

  • ½ Head Iceberg lettuce
  • Something Chives For A Garnish.

Preparations

  • The meat cut non…thin strips.

  • Non…bowl, mix the Oil with the Gyros seasoning, salt and pepper and 1 TEASPOON sugar and 1 TEASPOON lemon juice tot’n Marinade.

  • The add the meat, mix everything well and cover at least to marinate for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

  • Tip: You can dementsprechend use pre-marinated Gyros, then this step is omitted

Preparation

  • First, cook the rice. I cook rice in the rice cooker. It is weitestgehend, maak’n mess and always successful, without burning. Only 1 part rice with 2 Parts water and a pinch of salt in the rice cooker and the rice-start the program.

  • Meanwhile, fry the meat non…heated pan with no extra Oil sharp.

  • When it is all around nice and brown, reduce the heat and add the sour cream together with the meat stock.

For the salad Marinade and the salad

  • 2 tablespoons of white wine vinegar with 6 tablespoons of cooking oil mixture. The mustard, honey, lemon juice, salt and pepper and add with a whisk.

  • Shortly before Serving with the Marinade and mix well.

  • Tip: If you want, you can make the onion rings, slices of cucumber and tomatoes with the salad.
