What kind of meat you can for the bean-beef casserole with potatoes use?
I use non… recipe for beef calf, there are usually very cheap at the butcher. The meat is cut non…bite-size pieces of small, first seared and scorched, then later vir’n hour in the oven.

Bean-beef casserole with potatoes
Bean-beef casserole with aartappels’n big family meal, the taste of the whole family.
Calories: 720 kcal
- 700 g Goulash meat For example, the cow-calf or pre-cut stew.
- 2 Onions
- 4 Roots
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1 EL Tomato paste
- 700 g Potatoes
- 1 Canned small white beans
- 1 Can of big white beans
- 1 Can Of Kidney Beans
- 500 ml Meat sauce
- 1 TL Salt or to taste
- ½ TL Pepper or to taste
- 1 TL Sweet Paprikaschote
- 1 TL Sugar
- ½ TL Turmeric powder
- 1 TL Thyme dried
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top and bottom heat heat.
Wash the meat, pat dry and cut non…small, bite-size pieces.
Onions and carrots peel and cut in small pieces.
Peel the potatoes and cut non…slices.
Non…large frying pan first, the meat is dry.
The onions, the carrots and the chopped cloves of garlic to add.
A tablespoon of tomato paste with 1 TEASPOON sugar, stir and fry briefly.
With the beef broth to deglaze.
Beans add and cover and leave it for about 30 minutes to simmer.
Meanwhile, the potato slices cook for about 5 minutes. Then strain and cool with cold water.
Tip: The Quenching with cold water stops the cooking process. The potatoes to be cooked later in the oven until the end.
